Courney Trena Weary

October 25, 1992 - September 25, 2023

Courtney Weary, 30 years of age, passed on Monday, September 25, 2023, in Dallas, Tx. Courtney was born October 25, 1992, in Bogalusa, La to the late Letha Weary and James Thomas. She was the youngest of three children. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She graduated from Varnado High School and was employed at Walmart Super Center until her death.

Courtney was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Courtney is preceded in death by her parents, Letha Weary and James Thomas; grandparents, Georgia Mae and Willie J. Weary; Joyce Hughes and Bobby Kellyer; her great- grandparents, Tillie and Jonnie Mae Jefferson; Frank and Treni Weary; two aunts, Augustine Johnson and Annette Mark; two uncles, Ronald Weary and Clifford Weary.

She leaves to cherish her memories to one sister, Breanna (Dusty) Pittman of Dallas, Tx and one brother LaTruan Weary of Houston, Tx.; and one nephew, Dusty Pittman Jr.  of Dallas, Tx.; one niece, Aniyah Weary of Houston, Tx; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 10AM - 12 Noon. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 12 Noon at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel 809 E. Third Street  with Rev. Versie Dee Lee, Pastor Officiating. Interment will be at  Second Mt Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery 205 Berry Road Sandy Hook, MS. Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.  Repast will be held at Pride and Hope Ministry 29850 LA HWY 21 Angie, LA 70426.
