Martha Breitling Brickey

April 9, 1944 - October 24, 2023

Martha Alice Breitling Brickey, age 79, passed this life October 24, 2023 at her home in Franklinton, LA with family by her side.

Martha was born April 9, 1944, in New Orleans, LA, to Joseph N. Breitling, Jr. and Doris Martha Schexnayder. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Kenneth Adams, nephew, Michael Adams, husband and the love of her life, John W. Brickey.

She is survived by her son, Christopher "Chris" Alan Toney, his wife Marcella Franssen, her daughter, Carolyn "Susie" Anne Toney Rodick, son-in-law, Kenneth "Kenny" M. Rodick, her sister, Judy Breitling Adams, niece, Virginia "Ginger" Adams, and nephew, David Adams and wife Jen, along with extended family and her dear friend, Sandra Painter, whose friendship has been invaluable to Martha and her family.

Martha was a published author (Just Call Me Willie) and a talented poet. She was an inspiration to those she came across and had no fear sharing about the enduring love and grace of Jesus Christ, her LORD and Savior.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be forthcoming.

Walk to the land beyond this realm,
