Joyce Roxane Bickham

November 9, 1956 - October 16, 2023

Joyce Roxane Bickham was born to the late Lattimore and Audrey Bickham on November 9, 1956, in Bogalusa, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother.

Joyce was a graduate of Franklinton High School. She earned a certificate of excellence from Bogalusa Trade School.

She is survived by her son, Roderick Anton Bickham (Deshawn) of Franklinton, LA; three sisters, Ella Austin, Beulah Bickham of Chicago, IL, and Marilyn (WL) Davis of Franklinton, LA; one brother, Edward (Pearl) Bickham of Chicago, IL; she was blessed with four grandchildren, Diquan, Javon, Roderick Jr., and Devonta, two great grandchildren , Javi and Janae’ and host of relatives and friends

Joyce accepted Christ as her savior at an early age. She was active in her church, Hayes United Methodist Church as Vice President of United Women of Faith, choir member, member of Pastor Parish Relations Committee, Recording secretary for charge conference and, the Finance Secretary. She was a faithful member. She would help in any way she could. Her loving, warm and kind God-filled Spirit will live on it the hearts and minds of everyone she touched for many years to come.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home – Franklinton, La. 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 12:00 noon at The Hayes United Methodist Church, 30891 Old Columbia  Road, Franklinton, LA with Rev. Andryl Spikes- Pastor, Officiating. Interment – Hayes United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinton, LA. Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, La. are in charge of arrangements.
