Linda Lane Morris Spencer

Linda Lane Morris Spencer, age 82 and born November 8, 1940 in Bogalusa, LA, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong member of Main Street Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the area. Mrs. Linda was a florist for many, many years and enjoyed it very much.
She is survived by a long-time companion of 40 years: Mr. Marvin Penton; one daughter: Robin Spencer; two sons: Tommy Joe Spencer and Randy (Tina) Spencer; six grandchildren: Rocky (Kristin) Hall, Christopher Kennedy, Ashley Spencer, Leigha (Justin) Dillard, Lenzie Spencer, and Kenzie Spencer; five great-grandchildren: Madelyn Hall, KayLynn Kennedy, Mason Painter, Aaron Hall, and Emery Dillard; one brother: Larry (Pat) Morris; one sister: Donna Jean Morris; and numerous other family and friends.
Mrs. Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Wilbert and Bonnie Morris
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Monday, October 2, 2023, a visitation will start at 10AM in the funeral home chapel until time of service at 2PM. Services will be officiated by Bro. Rickie Wilson and Bro. Dennis Allen. Interment will immediately follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
