Arrested were 27 year-old Destany Anthony of Tickfaw, 22 year-old Alliyah LeBlanc of Tickfaw, 28 year-old Christian Anthony of Amite, and 23 year old Ardavion Hughes of Independence.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards says Narcotics Agents received a complaint of drug activity at a residence on Becky Lane in Tickfaw, where several subjects with outstanding warrants were known to reside. Acting on this information, Agents went to the residence on September 25, 2023 in an attempt to locate the
individuals, at which time they quickly located Destany Anthony who was standing in a neighbor's driveway. At the time of arrest, Anthony was also found to be in possession of 10 unopened prescription packages of Suboxone.
Further investigation led to the issuance of a narcotics-related search warrant for the residence, which yielded three other subjects being taken into custody. During the search, Alliyah Leblanc was found to be in possession of a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine and various forms of drug paraphernalia. Christan Anthony was arrested for two failure to appear warrants and was found to have a backpack containing approximately 32 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 15 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl powder, 18 grams of suspected counterfeit Xanax believed to contain fentanyl, as well as suspected adderall and marijuana. A fourth subject, identified as Ardavion Hughes was taken into custody for a failure to appear warrant.
