Election Results for October 14, 2023

According to unofficial results from the Louisiana Secretary of State's office and with all precincts reporting, "Beth" Mizell was reelected as State Senator, John Wyble  and Kelvin May will be in a runoff for State Representative, incumbent "Randy Country" Seal and Jason Smith will be in a runoff for Washington Parish Sheriff, Ryan Seal and Malinda Brumfield White will be in a runoff for Washington Parish President, Alan Black was elected District Judge (Div. A), Tara Farris Zeller was elected District Judge (Div. B), Preston Castille was elected to BESE in District 8, incumbent Shawn Rice was reelected as Washington Parish Council Member - District 2, incumbent Clark Harry was reelected as Washington Parish Council member – District 4, and incumbent Reginald McMasters and Dwayne "Worm" Magee will be in a runoff for Washington Parish Council Member - District 6.  (Other Washington Parish Council Districts were uncontested)

In the Statewide races and with 99% of precincts reporting, "Jeff" Landry was elected as Governor, William "Billy" Nungesser was reelected as Lieutenant Governor,  "Liz" Baker Murrill  and Lindsey Cheek will be in a runoff for Attorney General, "Gwen" Collins-Greenup and Nancy Landry will be in a runoff for Secretary of State, and John Fleming and Dustin Granger will be in a runoff for  Treasurer.

Runoff election is November 18, 2023.

All four of the Constitutional Amendments passed.
