Disturbance 1. Post-Tropical Cyclone Lee is no threat to us but is bringing tropical storm conditions and coastal flooding across portions of Atlantic Canada. Dangerous surf and life-threatening rip currents continue to affect the U.S. East Coast, Atlantic Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Hispaniola, and Puerto Rico through Monday. Lee could dissipate on Tuesday.
Disturbance 2. Tropical Storm Nigel is no threat to us but is strengthening and is forecast to become a hurricane on Monday. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
Disturbance 3. Tropical Storm Margot is no threat to us and may not last much longer. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
Disturbance 4. Eastern Tropical Atlantic: A tropical wave is forecast to move off the west coast of Africa by Wednesday. Gradual development of the wave will be possible thereafter and a tropical depression could form late this week or next weekend while the system moves westward across the eastern tropical Atlantic. Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent.and formation chance through 7 days...medium...40 percent.
