Diane Seals Stewart

July 18, 1951 - September 4, 2023

Diane Stewart, 72, of Bogalusa, LA, went to her Heavenly Home on September 4, 2023. Diane was a life-long resident of Bogalusa. She was a Respiratory Therapist for over 40 years working at LSU/BMC the majority of her career. Diane was a faithful member of Ben’s Ford Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years: Mr. Aubrey Stewart, Jr.; a son and daughter-in-law: Trampus and Tina Stewart of Thomas, LA; grandsons: Blaine Stewart of Thomas, LA & Kyle (Emily) Cochran of Pine, LA; great-grandchildren: Aubree Lee Stewart of Thomas, LA, and Dawson and Addisyn Cochran of Pine, LA; one sister: Myrt (Danny) Duncan; two brothers: O’Neal (Barbara) Seals and Willie Fay (Jane) Seals; two sisters-in-law: Sissy Rector and Jane Seals; three brothers-in-law: Stanley Stewart, Howard G. (Faye) Stewart, and David Earl Stewart; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly with all her heart.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Roena Gerald Seals; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Aubrey “Cotton” and Estelle Stewart; a twin brother: Danny Seals; two sisters: Cleo Seals Barber and Jean Ard; nieces: Janet Brumfield, Tammy Drott, and Susan Pope; and one nephew: Steven Pope.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 7, 2023 starting at 10AM until time of service at 3PM. Officiating the ceremony are Bro. Lynn Martin & Bro. Richard Magee. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA.

Pallbearers are as follows: Kyle Cochran, Paul Seals, Allen Seals, Johnny Seals, Aaron Seals, Zach Bates, Shane Ard, and Dusty Rogers.
