Jerry Bickham
March 23, 1954 - September 16, 2023
Jerry Bickham was born on March 23, 1954, in Bogalusa, LA to the late Erbie Sr. and Thelma (Magee) Bickham. He was a lifelong resident of Franklinton, LA and a graduate of Franklinton High School (’72).
On August 4, 1975, Jerry married his high school sweetheart, Ella Rose McCant. From this union, four children were born; Jermaine Jerard, Veronica LaJoyce, Candace Jozette and Jyra Thelmelia (Xavier Jefferson). Throughout their 48 years of marriage, Jerry and Ella Rose supported each other through all that life brought them, the best and the worst, the ups and the downs, in sickness and in health.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Crain & Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11:00AM at Winan United Methodist Church with Rev. Fredrick Sweetwyne ~ Pastor Officiating. Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
