Tip Leads to Seizure of 20 Firearms & Narcotics in Slidell-area Home / 4 Arrested

Four individuals were arrested Wednesday (August 2, 2023) after illegal narcotics and firearms were
located at a Slidell-area residence.

Detectives with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and the STPSO Proactive Enforcement Unit arrived at a residence in the Slidell Manor Subdivision Wednesday after receiving a tip about activity involving illicit narcotics at the home.

A search warrant was obtained, resulting in the seizure of 20 firearms, 13.27 grams of methamphetamine, 7.09 grams of unlawfully possessed marijuana, 4.04 grams of psilocybin, 8 dosage units of unlawfully possessed tramadol 50 mg, 14 dosage units of unlawfully possessed suboxone and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

Arrested and charged with numerous firearms and narcotics offenses were 49 year-old Earl Lingo, 46 year-old Shane Reis, 52 year-old Bobby Arceneaux, and 44 year-old Crystal Girard. 

“Keeping illegal drugs and firearms out of our neighborhoods is a cooperative effort between law enforcement and our residents,” Sheriff Randy Smith said. “If you suspect someone is selling drugs in our community, please report it. We will investigate.”

Sheriff Smith is asking anyone with information about narcotics, or other crimes, to submit a tip utilizing the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office website (www.STPSO.com), or by calling the narcotics tip line (1-888-GO-2-JAIL).
