The Slidell Police Narcotics Unit was on patrol today (August 30, 2023) and conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation. The driver, 45 year-old Bradley Abron of Natalbany, was wanted for failing to appear in Slidell City Court. A subsequent search led the discovery of narcotics and a loaded .380 Ruger semi-automatic handgun. A criminal history check of Bradley Abron led to the discovery of a 2021 arrest by Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office for Second Degree Murder.
Bradley Abron was placed under arrest for Possession of a firearm in the presence of CDS, Possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Window Tint, Display of license plate, Obstructed view, Open container, and Driver must be licensed.
SPD further reported that the status of the Second Degree Murder charge is unknown other than the fact that it is still going through the judicial process.
