Levon Stafford
January 6, 1941 - August 27, 2023
Levon Stafford, age 82, passed at his daughter’s house in Varnado after a lengthy illness. In his younger years, he loved hunting for deer and turkey and fishing. He worked as a dozer operator for Crown Zellerbach for many years before retiring.
Preceded in death by wife: Peggy Sue Seal Stafford; three sons: Tommy Wayne and 2 infant sons: Byarn and Johnnie; a grandson: Michael “Mike” Bradley Doty; his father and mother and sisters and brothers.
Survived by daughter and son-in-law: Debbie and Philip Doty of Varnado; grandson: Joey (Dana) Netherland of Independence; one granddaughter: Caitlin Doty of Varnado and a step-grandson: Adam Doty of Bogalusa; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
