Laura Wallace DeVun

December 20, 1967 - August 1, 2023

Laura Wallace DeVun, age 55 and a resident of Franklinton, died Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at her residence.

She worked for Wal-Mart in Covington for 23 years. She started her career there during the remodel and worked up to manager position of the Automotive Department. She was loved by her Wal-Mart Family. She enjoyed planting flowers on her property. She had a beautiful passion for her flowers. She enjoyed creating door wreaths for each season. She loved arts and crafts and loved coloring with crayons. Her most favorite pastime was cooking and creating new dishes.

She was loved by her nieces and nephews that she called her grandchildren.

She was recently preceded in death by her father Otis Archie Wallace and mother Diane Holcomb Wallace and a sister Mary Ann Wallace.

A memorial service for her friends and family will be held at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Saturday September 9th. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am.
