Multiple Victims in Bogalusa Shooting

The Bogalusa Police Department reported this morning (August 22, 2023) a shooting with multiple victims located within the 500 Block of Huron Avenue. They report that the scene is very active, and citizens are asked to stay clear of the area while Detectives process the scene. 

Multiple victims have been transported to various medical facilities for treatment. Detectives have confirmed two shooters were involved and both received injuries. Both shooters were also transported to various medical facilities for treatment.

A report by Fox8live.com adds that, according to Acting Police Chief Percy Knight, three people were shot when two men began fighting over a video game. Both men, whose ages and identities were not immediately available, sustained gunshot wounds and were seriously injured. A female tried to intervene and was also seriously injured by gunfire.
