Burn Ban Ordered for Washington Parish

Washington Parish Richard N. Thomas, Jr. has signed Executive Order 08-23, establishing a parish-wide burn ban effective today (August 7, 2023).

The order recognizes the drought conditions that plague Washington Parish and that there is no significant rain projected.
