Tropical Disturbances Today

Subtropical Storm Don is steady in strength over the Central Atlantic with maximum sustained winds at 45 MPH. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. The storm is moving toward the north near 9 mph. A turn toward the east at a similar forward speed is expected on Sunday, followed by a turn to the southeast by late Monday. Little change in strength or slight weakening is expected, and Don could possibly become a post-tropical cyclone or remnant low during the next few days.
