The St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the remains found on the afternoon of June 26, 2023 as that of Billie Ann Blakey. St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s detectives located the remains in a wooded area near the intersection of Tyler Drive and Kisatchie Drive near Slidell, after receiving information that she was last seen in that vicinity.
The remains were turned over to the St. Tammany Parish Coroner’s Office, who made a positive identification.
It is unknown at this time if foul play was involved in her death, and STPSO detectives are currently speaking with family members and acquaintances of Blakely as part of their investigation.
