Umir Ja’Kel, precious baby boy of Jemetria Newell & Gregory Conerly of Bogalusa, La was born into the arms of angels on July 23, 2023. Born at 35 weeks he weighed 4 lbs 13.8 oz and was 18 inches long. Although Umir didn’t experience life on earth, he was so very loved and our little angel will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Joe King & Annie Newell and his Great Aunt, Sue Newell.
In a addition to his parents, Umir is survived by his 2 big brothers, who were excitedly awaiting his arrival, Jemerious & JaMarlo Williams; his sisters, Modesty Johnson & Ambrel Conerly and brother Dayon Moses; he is also survived by his grandparents, LaTonya & Clifford Frazier and Jumetrus Bearden of Houston Tx; Bonus Great Grandparents, Clinton & Nettie Frazier; Great uncle, Mitchell (Maria) Newell of Bogalusa and great aunts, Lisa (Lemuel) Holloway & Evette Bearden of Bogalusa and Phyllis Bearden of Houston Tx; and 2 Bonus great aunts,Lisa (Kevin) Frazier Page & Melissa (Zeke) Moses of Bogalusa.
A private Funeral Service will be held at2:00 PM on Friday, August 4, 2023 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, La, with Pastor Calvin D. Jackson, Officiating and Crain & Sons Funeral Home in charge of the services.
