The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public's assistance in locating two brothers in connection with a residential burglary.
Chief Jimmy Travis says 28 year-old Demarco Jones and 20 year-old De'Morie Jones, both of Tickfaw, have been identified as the suspects of a July 1, 2023 burglary on Whittington Lane in Tickfaw. The duo reportedly admitted to the victim they burglarized his home, and then sent the victim a ransom to get his property back, or else they would burglarize his home again.
The Jones brothers both have outstanding warrants for Residential Burglary and Extortion, and are believed to reside in the Natalbany area.
