Shortly before 3 a.m. Friday (July 28, 2023) morning, deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call in reference to a shooting at a residence in the 100 block of Eden Isle Boulevard near Slidell. Deputies located a male victim who was transported to a local area hospital, where he died.
STPSO detectives learned the shooting was in relation to a domestic incident that occurred inside the residence. A 17-year-old-male juvenile who lived at the residence has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with this homicide. He has been booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center.
