Disturbance 1. Tropical Storm Bret is located about 160 miles west of St. Vincent and has maximum sustained winds of 60 MPH and moving west at 18 MPH. On the forecast track, Bret will continue moving westward across the eastern and central Caribbean. Bret is expected to dissipate over the central Caribbean Sea by Saturday night or Sunday.
Disturbance 2. Tropical Storm Cindy, located about 990 miles east of the Lesser Antilles, has maximum sustained winds at 45 MPH and is moving west northwest at 15 MPH. TS Cindy is gradually strengthening but is expected to remain well east and northeast of the northern Leeward Islands through early next week. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect and no hazards affecting land.
