Stephen Allen Camp

May 26, 1953 - June 5, 2023

Stephen Allen Camp, age 70 and a lifelong resident of the Pride, Louisiana community, passed away Monday morning June 5, 2023 at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was a graduate of Pride High School and was retired after a long career in carpentry and maintenance with the East Baton Rouge Parish Library System. Stephen was a talented carpenter, as he could build just about anything. He also constructed many home remodels and he loved woodworking in his shop, making different items for his friends and family. He always enjoyed shooting pool and visiting with his friends.

Survived by: Brother: Cary Camp of Franklinton; Sister and Brother in law: Carol and Charles New of Madisonville; 8 Nieces and Nephews and their families; Former Wife and Friend: Jill Jackson; First Cousins: Phyllis and Bruce Thomas, Phillip and Anna Dell Creel, Debbie Graham; Also numerous other extended family members

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman Shelby Camp and Mildred Miley Camp.

A memorial service for his family will be held at a later date
