David Ray Smith
July 15, 1972 - June 8, 2023
David Ray Smith, age 50 and a resident of the Lawrence Creek Community, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday night June 8, 2023. He worked many years for Asplundh and he enjoyed hanging out at the river. David always loved deer hunting, fishing and just spending time in the outdoors.
Survived by: Children: Lance Smith, Cari Ann Smith, Joshua David Smith, Patrick Ray Smith; Grandchildren: Bryclyn, Dalton, Malikey; Mother and Step-father: Barbara Thomas Passman and Butch Passman; Father and Step-mother: Abel and Karen Smith; Sister: Jennifer Melissa Smith and her children Katelyn, Kindelyn, Kailloulyn; Half-sister: Savannah; Step-sister: Shelly; Special Friend: Leslie; Also numerous cousins and many friends
He was preceded in death by Melvin Ray Thomas and Lois Marie Dillon Thomas
A memorial service will be held for his family at a later date
