Louisiana Fugitive Captured in Pike County MS

The Pike County Sheriff's Office has advised that 28 year-old Terence O'Neal Brewer, who was wanted out of Louisiana, has been taken into custody. 

PCSO was notified that Brewer was wanted out of Louisiana and was possibly in Pike County. PCSO deputies located Brewer in a vehicle described to them and initiated a traffic stop. However, Brewer sped away toward the railroad tracks in Fernwood. wrecked his vehicle and then ran off into the woods. Dog teams from Louisiana were called to track him. Brewer was tracked from the railroad tracks towards Woodrow Road in Magnolia. The track that the dogs were following did not cross over the road and he is believed to have been picked up by someone and taken elsewhere.

Brewer was subsequently located and taken into custody.
