A message from the City of Bogalusa
The City of Bogalusa is proud to announce Mayor Truong’s Youth Corps Summer Jobs Program. We will be employing youth 14-21 for a summer mentorship program focused on improving the look of our city. Students will work in cohort groups with a mentor on projects such as painting murals, improving playgrounds, and planting flowers. Students will work 25 hours per week and are required to secure a work letter from the school board. Students must live within Ward 4 to apply.
“With more money allocated toward beautification, we are excited to get our young people involved. Instead of them being bored in the streets, I want to pay them to help us clean up our streets. I think it’s a win, win for everyone involved! We are also grateful to Bogalusa City Schools for their support of this program”, Mayor Truong stated.
We have partnered with Bogalusa City Schools. If you are interested in an office position, please note that in the interest box.
Applications can be found here and must be completed by this Friday at noon.
