Gloria Gill Faust

September 15, 1942 - May 1, 2023

Gloria Gill Faust, age 80 and a native and longtime resident of the Wilmer/Stony Point Community, died peacefully Monday night May 1, 2023 at Good Samaritan Living Center. Gloria loved working in her flower beds and she always placed flowers on her family’s graves in nearby cemeteries. She was a devoted Bible reader that enjoyed listening to her favorite gospel music and watching gospel TV shows. Gloria liked visiting with her family and friends and sent them all birthday and holiday cards each year. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Survived by: Sons and Daughters in law: Gregg and Donna Helton, Chris and Angela Helton; Grandchildren and Spouses: Kyle and Caroline Helton, Kody and Elizabeth Helton, Christen Helton, Tanner Rochester; Great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Kinsley, Kort, Kambrie; Sisters and a Brother in law: Vernell Winborn, Louise Maggio, Pat and Glennis Dykes; Brothers and a Sister in law: Percy Gill, Jr., Jerry and Diane Gill; Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Faust, parents Percy Gill, Sr. and Eckel Jenkins Gill, grandson Wyatt Helton, brothers Ken Thomas, Russell Gill, brothers in law Sammy Winborn, Buster Maggio, sister in law Judy Gill.

Visitation will be at Wilmer Missionary Baptist Church Thursday May 4th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11:00 am Thursday with Bro. Don McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
