Mildred Crowe Miller

December 21, 1926 - May 19, 2023

Mildred Crowe Miller, age 96 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away peacefully Friday night May 19, 2023 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She had a long career performing clerical work for Riverside Medical Center before retiring. Mildred enjoyed tending the rose bushes and flower beds at her home. She enjoyed crocheting and had made countless quilts and blankets for her family. Mildred was an excellent cook that loved hosting her family for delicious meals. She adored her family and even helped to babysit many of her great-grandchildren through the years.

Survived by: Son and Daughter in law: Larry and Bobbie Miller of Denham Springs; Daughter: Keitha Miller of Franklinton; Sisters: Wilda Morgan of Franklinton, Della Ruth Simmons of Mt. Hermon; Also numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her husband A.D. Miller, parents Homer Crowe and Alli Taylor Crowe, a sister and 5 brothers.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday May 23rd from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Tuesday with Rev. Joey Miller and Rev. Terry Lobell officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Cemetery.
