The Bogalusa Police Department reports that they were made aware of a threat that a school shooting will occur today at the Bogalusa High School. After receiving the threat, Officers of the Bogalusa Police Department immediately responded and began assessing the situation. While on scene, Officers were presented with an additional threat indicating a bomb was on campus.
As a precaution, all students and faculty were immediately evacuated.
After the proper measures were conducted, no presence of a shooter or evidence of a bomb were located.
The Bogalusa Police Department takes threats of this magnitude very seriously and it will be investigated as such.
