Caroline Davis Smith, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away at St Tammany Hospital in Covington, LA, on April 28, 2023 at the age of 53.
Caroline is survived by her mother Alene Woodard Davis; two daughters “Ashley” and Dustin Cothern of Bogalusa, LA, and “Sarah” and Dimitry Perminov of Panama City, FL; grandchildren Hallie Verlander, Callie Davis, Coralyn Cothern, Gage Dillon, Yelana Perminova; a great grandchild Camden Verlander; nieces Cassie Davis, Lauren (Manuel) Ramos, and Abby Creel.
She was preceded in death by her father Archie Davis; a sister Cindy Davis; a nephew Michael Blackwell; her husband Mark Smith; and a daughter Courtney Davis.
Visitation will be held Wednesday May 3, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 2:00p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Scott Breland will officiate the service and Dustin Cothern, Alex Breland, Kenny Powe, Mike Freeman, Jonathan McKenzie, and Jordan Perry will serve as pallbearers.
