Clifford Thomas Crowe

September 18, 1950 - April 22, 2023

Clifford (Cliff) Thomas Crowe, age 72, passed away from a heart attack with his wife by his side on April 22, 2023. He was born September 18, 1950 in New Orleans, LA to Coy Alfred Crowe, Sr. (deceased) and Yvonne Meyer Crowe. Cliff attended Louisiana State University where he attained his undergraduate and masters degrees in Geology. He worked in the oil industry for his entire career. Once retired, Cliff enjoyed sharing his knowledge and love for Geology as a professor and a consultant. Cliff was a lover of all things adventurous and was a world explorer. His extensive travels led him to all seven continents, many of the wonders of the world and over 95 countries. Cliff had many hobbies that  he was passionate about. He was an avid photographer, who took special pleasure in photographing wildlife. He was a serious collector of exceptional geological artifacts. He lived life to the fullest and had countless adventurous experiences.

Over 50 years ago he married the love of his life, Melia (Milky) Crowe. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Kevin Thomas Crowe and Jamie Lynn Crowe, and one grandchild, Stella Grace Crowe. His family, friends, and faith were of the utmost importance to him. Cliff touched countless lives as a mentor, friend, father figure, and big brother.

Cliff is survived by his bride Melia (Milky) Crowe; his son Kevin Thomas Crowe (Andrea); his daughter, Jamie Lynn Crowe; his granddaughter, Stella Grace Crowe; his mother, Yvonne Meyer Crowe; his brothers and sister, Debra "Debbie” Smith (Danny/spouse), Yvette Brewer (Marc/spouse), Dorinda Magnuson, Coylean Schloegel (Al/spouse), Wesley Crowe, Coy Crowe, Jr. (Danielle/spouse); many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Cliff was proceeded in death by his father, Coy Alfred Crowe, Sr. and his brother, Kenneth “Kenny” Crowe.

He was loved and will be missed by all.

Services will be on April 26, 2023 at Champion Forest Baptist Church, 15555 Stuebner Airline Road, Houston, TX. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM.  Burial will be at 3:30 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX.
