The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 27 men and women to date in “Operation April Showers.” This operation is a multi-month investigation targeting those that Sell and Possess Controlled Substances in Marion County, Mississippi.
The round up began on Friday April 21, 2023, at 77 Game Reserve Road, Columbia, where the Sheriff’s Office served a residential search warrant. The search yielded a marijuana grow, a large quantity of marijuana, cocaine, and firearms.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Columbia Police Department and the Mississippi Department of Probation and Parole for their assistance this weekend.
