Beginning in January of 2023, the Slidell Police Narcotics Division, along with Louisiana Probation
and Parole, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, conducted a three-month-long operation which consisted of officers targeting high-crime areas in the city in an effort to suppress overall crime.
Operation Clean Sweep resulted in:
