District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that on March 8, 2023, a St. Tammany Parish grand jury indicted Antonio Tyson, age 49 and of Covington, on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of obstruction of justice for a double homicide that occurred in Covington on November 27, 2022.
Tyson had been arrested by Covington Police, accused of murdering and burning the bodies of 71 year-old retired Priest Otis Young and 73 year-old Ruth Prats.
