Dicie Marie Kemp Hunt
June 2, 1927 - February 13, 2023
Mrs. Dicie Marie Kemp Hunt, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023, at the age of 95.
Mrs. Marie is survived by her children, Shelton (Cheryle) Hunt of TN, Lynn (Denton) Jenkins, Catherine (Larry) Willis, Marianne Bennett, Theresa Gomez, and Amy Hunt all of Bogalusa, LA; eleven grandchildren, Jason Hunt, Brandon Hunt, Luke Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins, Suzanne Lamb, Joey Willis, Sarah Willis, David Willis, Marie Gomez Goff, Seth Crain, and Megan Hunt; and fourteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne and Doug Kemp and her sisters, Marian Bridges and Lorraine Latino.
Mrs. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Hunt; her parents, Elmer and Bertha Kemp; one brother, Jim Kemp; one sister, Thelma Jones; and two sons in laws, Otis Bennett and Edward Gomez.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at Lee’s Creek Baptist Church from 11:00 A.M. until time for the services at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow in Lee’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
