Jeanette Young
May 30, 1930 - February 14, 2023
Mrs. Jeanette Young, age 92, passed away at Our Lady of the Angels in Bogalusa, Louisiana on February 14, 2023. She was a life-long resident of Washington Parish.
Mrs. Young is survived by three sons: Michael Wayne Young, Charles Edward Young, Jr., and Steven Scott Young; ten grandchildren: Keenan Varnado, Brandon Young, Tanner Young, Cody Young, Jena Young, Sabrina Fitzsimmons, Niki Fitzsimmons, Bradley Young, Joseph Penton, and Billy Gay; three great-grandchildren: Tyler Young, Kaden Young, and Madison Young; and two great—great grandchildren: Blayden Young and Korilynn Elizabeth Young.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Edward Young, Sr.; two daughters: Susan Young Penton and Donna K. Varnado; two grandchildren: Ron Michael Varnado and Jessica Shay Young; and her parents Edgar and Bernette Fuller.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home is in charge of final arrangements.
Visitation will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana on February 17, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the Service at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Varnado, Louisiana.
