The Washington Parish Council met Monday (February 13, 2023) and Riverside Medical Center Board Chairwoman Tammy Magruder introduced Sean Johnson, recently appointed Chief Executive Officer, following the retirement of Peter Sullivan in January, 2023. In other business, the Council
- approved a resolution appointing Grayson Ball to the Washington Parish Riverside Hospital Board of Directors
- during the Public Participation segment of the meeting, heard from Vincent Chauvin who spoke at length regarding improvements needed on numerous roads in the Parish
- heard reports from Parish President Richard Thomas and his staff that included important announcements of events and office closures, financial information, and work performed by parish work crews. See the video beginning at 30:20.
Following comments from Council Members, the meeting adjourned. The next meeting will be at 5:30 PM on February 27, 2023.
