During the weeks of February 6, 2023 until February 16, 2023, the Bogalusa Police Department and the Washington Parish Sheriffs Office joined forces in an effort to discourage criminal activity inside the city limits of Bogalusa.
Officers worked heavily on high crime areas and were able to put a small dent in crime. The following results were reported:
- Arrests - 24
- Firearms Seized - 27
- Heroin Seized - 5.24 OZ
- Cocaine Seized - 1.6 OZ
- Fentanly Seized - 10.4 OZ
- Methamphetamine Seized - 12.4 OZ
- Marijuana Seized - 6 OZ
- MDMA Seized - 21 pills
- Illegal Pills Seized - 92
- U.S. Currency Seized $5,268.00
- Vehicles Seized - 1
