Belle Helen Miley LaFrance

March 24, 1937 - January 6, 2023

Belle Helen Miley LaFrance, and a resident of Pine, passed away early Friday morning January 6, 2023 after a lengthy illness. She always loved gardening and tending to her many beautiful flower beds. Belle truly had a green thumb and also took care of a lot of green plants. She enjoyed sewing and collecting special rare coins. Belle had chickens around her house that she kept busy with. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by: Daughters and Sons in law: Judy Crain of Franklinton, Cathie and Wilbert Duhon of Orange, TX, Teresa and Stanley Richardson of McComb, MS; Grandchildren and Spouses: Michelle and Gary Kemp, Cynthia and Wade Robertson, Steven and Angela Stafford, Jonathan Nicholson, Jason and Natalia Nicholson, Krystal and Lane Warren; Great-grandchildren: Cody Stinson, Selena Stinson, Jade Kemp, Joshua Athey, Kaitlyn Robertson, Kristal Blye, J.D. Nicholson, Jaxson Nicholson, McKenzie Nicholson, Lexie Nicholson, Kieran Nicholson, Jaylee Nicholson, Austin Warren, Allie Warren; Great-great-grandchildren: Konner Varnado, Korbin Varnado, Angelina Blye, Nevaeh Athey, Lyric Athey; Sister in law: Della Faye Miley; Also numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her daughters Carolyn Stafford, Barbara Ann Martin, son in law Arnold “Bo” Crain, granddaughter Madison Nicholson, father Jim Miley, mother and step-father Winnie Stewart Cauley and Pete Cauley, sister Evelyn Jenkins, brother Leland Miley and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday January 9th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Monday with Rev. Walter Vernon officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Gerald Cemetery.
