Shirley Fortenberry Crain

Shirley Fortenberry Crain, age 88 and of Franklinton, LA, passed away on January 17, 2023 and was born June 6, 1934 to Hezzie and Merlie Owens Fortenberry in Walthall County. She was a long-time educator in the Franklinton Public Schools of Washington Parish School District. She resided in the community for 50+ years.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Coach Walter Crain.
A drive through viewing will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held in Walthall County on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Brandon Bay United Methodist Church-Tylertown, MS.
Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
