The Washington Parish School Board met Thursday (December 15, 2022) evening to address a full business Agenda and to recognize the service of three outgoing board members. However, the two items concerning Industrial Tax Exemption Program Applications from solar projects dominated the meeting's time. Outgoing board members were recognized. Dewitt Perry had served on the Board for 16 years, Alan McCain had also served on the Board for 16 years, and Dan Slocum had served on the board for 26 years.
Following Superintendent Frances Varnado's report and further comments from Board Members, the meeting adjourned.
