Catherine Ann Booty Walters

June 4, 1943 - December 14, 2022

Catherine Ann Booty Walters, age 79 and a resident of Franklinton, died Wednesday morning December 14, 2022 at her home. She loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Teddy. Catherine was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading. Catherine also loved playing the piano and tending to her beautiful flower garden.

Survived by: Husband of 59 years: Bob Walters; 3 Daughters and Sons in law: Teresa Weysham Fornea and Bret Fornea Shelia Walters Allemand, Becky Walters Mizell and Brian Mizell; Grandchildren and Spouses: Lauren Weysham Whittington and Nick Whittington, Brandi Weysham Jones and Chris Jones, Bradley Fornea, Terry Fornea, Brittany Fornea, Bryan Fornea, TJ Allemand and Janet Coste, Andrew Corkern, Dylan Perry, BJ and Lindsay Mizell; Great-grandchildren: Skylar Fornea, Madi Fornea, Brinley Fornea, Jake Howard, Mallory Howard, Aiden Fornea, Addi Fornea, Journey Fornea, Rose Whittington, Sabrina Whittington, August Allemand, Daxtyn Corkern, Justin Corkern, Everett Mizell, Heather Jones, Kaitlynn Jones, Brazley Fornea, Layne Fornea

She was preceded in death by her parents Shelby and Maggie Booty, granddaughter Kasey Moore, sister and brother in law Jackie Booty Givens and Stanley Givens, mother and father in law Attley and Caroah Walters, brother in law and spouse Dolan and Faye Walters, sister in law and brother in law Murleen and Huey Welch, sister in law and brother in law Shirley and Leroy Toney, and nephew Mark Givens.

Visitation will be at Hillcrest Baptist Church of Franklinton on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 10 am until 2:30 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm with Rev. Daryl Dunigan and Rev. Dustin Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
