Aaron Jerry Lee Cox

Our precious loving Aaron Jerry Lee Cox passed from this walk of life on Saturday, December 3, 2022. Aaron was born on the morning of January 1, 1982 to Reverend Jerry W. and Brenda Gail Tyner Cox of Pine, Louisiana making him the first born child in Washington Parish in 1982. He grew up in Pine, Louisiana graduating school at Faith Tabernacle Christian Academy.
Aaron was a talented singer and guitar player. He recorded his own gospel CD in Nashville during his senior year and was later featured on the First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock CD. He enjoyed riding four-wheelers and excelled in all things to do with that. When Aaron was around, it was going to be a fun time. He was the life of every family party and was loved by everyone that met him.
He is survived by his wife, Lashonda Renee Rowley Cox of Stringer, Mississippi, his daughters, McKayla Jordan, Ariana Lenee’ Cox, son Addison Jerry Lee Cox, his father Reverend Jerry W. Cox, his sisters and brothers in law Pamela G. and Jeff Dykes of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tammy S. and Doug Hickman of Mt. Hermon, Louisiana, Deborah A. and Kelvin Thomas of Thomas, Louisiana. Also a host of other family members and friends.
Aaron was preceded in death by his mother Brenda Tyner Cox and grandparents Reverend Edward Lee Cox and Earline Cox.
Visitation will be at Faith Tabernacle Church Wednesday December 7th from 11:00 am until 2:30 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jeff Dykes, Rev. Nathaniel Hickman, Rev. W.J. Holland, Rev. John Hair, Rev. Loy Tolbird, Rev. Wesley Jackson, Rev. Mark Copeland, Rev. Nathen Holmes and Rev. Joel Holmes officiating.
Pallbearers: Heath Spears, Danny Brooks, Kelvin Thomas, Jewel Thomas, Benjamin Dykes, Nathaniel Hickman
