Alfred Charles Partman, Sr. (AC) "Sparkplug"

July 13, 1934 - December 14, 2022

Alfred Charles (AC) "Sparkplug" Partman Sr. was born July 13, 1934 to the late Charles Herber Partman and Eular Partman of Warnerton, LA.

He was baptized at an early age in the creek near his church. He attended Lear Hill and Haynes Creek MB Church. AC Partman went to Hayes Creek Grade School, He loved listening to Bible Stories read to him by his dad.

As a young boy he worked at the store pumping gas and he had many jobs. Over the years he became Master of various jobs. He worked in Tylertown, MS helping to build many FHA Homes. He built his own home in 1965. He worked for Willie Core, Billy Boyd, Kermit Hughes and at the milk plant in Franklinton.

After courting two years, Bro. AC Partman married Ms. Brenda JB Leach on June 22, 1985 and to this union was born a son, Alfred Charles Man Partman Jr. AC had many hobbies that brought him joy: fixing pumps in wells, remodeling homes and churches, gardening and caring for his cats and dogs plus listening to Gospel music on DVD's

Bro. AC Partman loved to witness to people at Warnerton Quick Stop and everywhere he went, he told his vision of seeing Heaven and he encouraged them to choose Jesus Christ and go to spend eternity with God in Heaven where it is so beautiful, just like he was going to do and he said "I have been there and I am going back".

One of his favorite songs was "Walk Around Heaven All Day". Two of his favorite sayings was "It's gonna be alright, The lord will fix it" and Let the hair go with the hide".

Bro. AC Partman, Sr. was preceded in death by: one sister Carrie Mae Hoskins; three brothers; Hezekiah "Rich" Partman, Johnnie D. "John" Partman and James Eugene Partman Sr.

Bro. AC Partman Sr, leaves to cherish his life memories; his loving wife of 37 years Mrs. Brenda J.B.L. Partman; two stepdaughters Rhonda L. Benavides and Demetas Wesley of Elkridge, MD, McComb, MS. three stepsons: Ronald M. Leach Jr., Micheal H. Beechem Sr. and Alfred Fox Beechem (Nn-eka) all of New Orleans, LA, One son Alfred Charles (Man) Partman Jr. of New Orleans, LA; twelve grandchildren, five great grand sons, five sisters Dorothy L. Bickham, Ida L. Sibley, Josephine (James) Warren Sr, Corrine (Billy) Watson all of Franklinton, LA and Charlean(Royal) Brock of Biloxi, MS. One brother Nathaniel Partman of Franklinton, LA, One sister-in-law June B. Partman of Columbia, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends  

Services will be on December 22, 2022 at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Church, 31499 Greater Hayes Creek Road, Franklinton, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM and the Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM.

Cook-Richmond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
