Rhonda Lee Taylor

August 8, 1979 - November 28, 2022

Ronda Lee Taylor, age 43 and of Bogalusa, Louisiana, transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, November 28, 2022. She was born August 8, 1979 to Earkler Charles Taylor of Mobile, Alabama residing in Angie, Louisiana and Diane Robinson Taylor of Varnado, Louisiana, who preceded her death.

She is survived by her son DeCarlous DeSean Taylor (25) of Bogalusa, four sisters; Earshler Chorlet Taylor (50) of Bogalusa residing in Atlanta, Georgia, Krystal Lee Chapman (39) of Bogalusa, Khristy Lee Chapman (37) of Bogalusa, Teanna Rosailean Taylor (20) of Angie, two nieces Cierra Symonne Hurd (30) of Atlanta and Michelle Ariel Chapman (12) of Bogalusa, special-mother Rosailean Brister Peters of Angie, devoted cousin Antonio Lorenzo Morris of Bogalusa, devoted uncles Lenelle Robinson and Adam Robinson both of Varnado, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and loving friends.

Ronda was a pillar of strength and had tenacity for self-growth. Receiving her GED was a priority and she successfully accomplished this goal with pride. A few years before her transition, she found a career that brought her much reward as a forklift driver in Memphis, Tennessee. It was a position she was proud to work.

We welcome you join us as we celebrate the life of our beloved. Services will be held at Crain & Sons, 809 East Third Street, Bogalusa, Louisiana on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. In addition, a drive-by viewing will be held Friday, December 9, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.  The Interment will be at Ponemah Cemetery, 1136 Louisiana Avenue, Bogalusa, Louisiana immediately following services.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home, Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
