Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Chief Jimmy Travis today (November 10, 2022) announced the arrest of Joseph Brandon Hammons, Jr., age 24 and of Kentwood. Hammons was arrested in Livingston Parish and is awaiting extradition to the Tangipahoa Parish Jail.
Hammons was wanted on the charges of Resisting an Officer (3 counts), Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property, Burglary of a Residence, and Failure to Appear.
All persons accused of a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.
