DEA Agent Arrested on Domestic Abuse Charge

Jimmie Ogden, age 54 and a local DEA agent, was arrested this week by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, accused of battering his wife.

On September 25, 2022, a female contacted the STPSO to report her husband, Jimmie Ogden, had battered her while they were at their Covington-area home on September 22, 2022. The female reported that she fled to north Louisiana after the incident. On September 28, 2022, the female met with STPSO investigators, providing a statement and documentation of injuries was taken. 

Based on the investigation conducted and the evidence provided, a warrant was issued by the 22nd Judicial Court Wednesday (September 28, 2022) night for Ogden’s arrest.

Ogden was located and taken into custody without incident and booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center on one count of Domestic Abuse Battery. Ogden was released on $2500.00 bond.

The STPSO has been in communication with the local DEA field office and they are aware of the arrest.
