A tropical wave in the eastern tropical Atlantic near the Cabo Verde Islands is expected to gradually develop while it moves westward to west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph across the eastern and central tropical Atlantic during the early to middle part of this week. Formation chance through 48 hours is near 0% and formation chance through 5 days is at 20%.
