Team Up to Clean Up Franklinton

A Message from the Franklinton Chamber of Commerce

The Franklinton Chamber of Commerce along with the Town of Franklinton and  AMwaste Management is excited to present the First annual event named Team Up to Clean Up Day and Movie night.  This event, Team Up to Clean Up, will take place October 8th from 8:00 am – 2pm,  ending with a Movie night at 6:45 pm. 

We are asking all adults, children of all ages, families, businesses, Organizations and Churches to form teams of 2 or more in efforts to rid the town of litter.  Please contact Penny Jones, Community Pride Committee Chairperson at 334-301-4969 to sign up. Deadline to Register is September 16th. Teams signing up for this great event will receive a Team Up to Clean Up T-shirt. 

The finale of this campaign will end with a movie on  October 8th  , beginning at 6:45pm. The Franklinton Chamber of Commerce, Town of Franklinton and AMwaste  Management will sponsor this movie for all participants of the litter campaign.  The T-shirt given will grant you access to the movie.  Bring your chair, a blanket & a picnic dinner to enjoy Monsters, Inc.!  The location for the movie will take place behind the Washington Parish School Board, across the street from the Franklinton Junior High School.     

In order to bring this event to the community, we need the help of local sponsors!  We hope you will consider supporting this fun and worthwhile event.  Bringing families together and giving children a safe inviting atmosphere to enjoy the fall evening is our goal.
