Glenn Andrew Boone

March 23, 1938 - August 4, 2022

Glenn Andrew Boone of Angie, Louisiana passed from this life to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the age of 84. He was born in Sandy Hook, MS to Homer and Ollie Boone, as one of eleven children. He was a U.S. Army veteran and owner of Boone Heavy Equipment Services. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. Mr. Boone will be remembered as an honest, kind, and compassionate person who always put the interest of others before his own.

Mr. Boone was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Maxine Tynes, Hilda Seal, Lelia Kennedy, Dorothy Kennedy, and Maureen Hobgood; four brothers, Clyde Boone, Lawrence Boone, Paul Boone and Stanley Boone.

Mr. Boone is survived by his wife, Jessie Merle Boone; two sons, Anthony Boone and Jeffrey Boone; a brother, Carl (Carolyn) Boone; three grandchildren, Andrew Boone, Samuel Boone, and Matthew Boone; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held for Mr. Boone at Grace Chapel of Sandy Hook from 9:00 A.M until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 13th, 2022. The funeral service, officiated by Mark Hobgood, will follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow in the Grace Chapel Church Cemetery assisted by Mack Hobgood, Mike Hobgood, Mitch Hobgood, Michael Seal, Joel Boone, and Tim Boone serving as pallbearers.
