Obituary

Kennith "Ray" Pierce

January 7, 1991 - August 15, 2022

Kennith “Ray” Pierce was born in Bogalusa, LA on January 7, 1991, and departed his earthly home on Monday, August 15, 2022, surrounded by loving family and friends.

Ray loved to cut hair and there wasn’t a person he ran into that he wouldn’t talk to. Ray loved his wife, children, and family so much and enjoyed spending time with them.  He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son, and friend.

Ray leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Destiny Pierce; his mother, Mary Clark; his father, Keith (Laurie) Pierce; his four children, Alivia Pierce, Izabella Elliott, Tylen Pierce, and Brayden Pierce.  He is also mourned by one sister who stood by his side through it all, Nancy (Brent) McClenton.  He is also survived by six cousins; one aunt, Debbie Lynn Bass; four uncles, Marcus Riley, Michael Riley, Steve Wheat, & Jeff (Jody) Riley.  Ray also leaves behind two special women he considered to be his bonus moms, Brandy (Ronnie) Seal and Amanda (Mark) Mizell and five special friends, T-Man, Roy, Colton (Hailey), Joey (Maranda), and Tori Gonsoulin.

Ray was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary (Elmer) Riley, Joyce Harden, and Argil Glenn Pierce and his stepfather, Willie Earl Clark.

Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements which are incomplete at this time.

Please keep all of Ray’s family, friends, and loved ones in your prayers, as they prepare to say, “See you later”.
